Natalie
Leduc, a third generation resident of the Adirondacks and a much-honored, much
respected citizen of Saranac Lake, has been a Rob Grant Associate from the very
beginning of the company. She facilitated countless real estate sales and brought
many new residents to the area. Natalie's results speak for themselves: She is
a consistent multi-million dollar producer, year after year. Her "style,"
if you can call it that, appeals equally to sellers and buyers.
"I
don't think I've ever done any selling, as such," says Natalie. "I concentrate
on making sure that all parties have as much information as possible. When people
have the facts, they find it easy to make a decision." Her encyclopedic memory
includes neighborhood histories, an uncanny sense of property values, unique qualities
of the area and just about every detail a new resident needs to settle in.
Natalie
Leduc's access to facts surprises many of her new clients. She was a school teacher
here for 30 years, she taught many of today's adults to ski when they were youngsters
(she was once the New York State Women's Skiing Champion), she has been deeply
involved in volunteer work for decades, she's been active in Friends of the Saranac
Lake Free Library and she was honored as Winter Carnival Queen, Winter Carnival
Grand Marshall, and presented with Citizen of the Year awards from many civic
organizations.
Natalie's
current involvement in Saranac Lake and Adirondack-wide community affairs includes
an active role in her church activities, supervision of grounds and records at
the Pine Ridge Cemetery and a great deal of fund raising and support for the High
Peaks Hospice and the facility for abused women.
"Honestly,
real estate is just an extension of my life in Saranac Lake," says Leduc.
"I know so many people here, I remember so clearly how the area has developed
and grown, I've met so many nice people looking for a camp or a home here, and
I've helped so many families sell their property as they move up or relocate,
that I can't imagine not being involved in the interesting and often exciting
business of selling and buying real estate."
