Chasolen joins

LAKE — Rob Grant & Associates, Real Estate, recently announced
that Ruth Chasolen has joined its staff as a real estate sales agent.
Grant said he was especially pleased that Chasolen came with a broad
background in sales. She was, until recently, vice president of sales
and marketing in a high-end furniture manufacturing company founded
by her grandfather and father in Paterson, N.J. in 1935. She was in
charge of showroom sales of their traditional, hand-carved furniture
and worked closely with designers and their clients.
“Working with the interior design trade also offered me the opportunity
to see a somewhat related business, real estate sales, as an interesting
and rewarding profession,” Chasolen said. “In moving to Saranac
Lake, I have been so thrilled to combine my love for this special town,
its people, culture and history with a career in real estate. I have
a unique opportunity to bring my enthusiasm to others seeking real estate
in the area.”
Chasolen said she was hoping to find employment with a top agency who
shared many of the principls and ideas of her former workplace.
“I feel very fortunate to have connected with Rob Grant &
Associates,” Chasolen said.
Chasolen at one time owned a home in Jay where she vacationed with
her family for many years. She recently moved here to a home she bought
three years ago. She attended William Paterson University, majoring
in psychology. She has two sons, one a dentist who lives in Sarasota,
Fla. and the other a jazz pianist who lives in Ringwood, N.J.
